Deduction Claimable for payments made after 31th March?

Hi,

I have heard news that the date has been extended to 30th june for deductions, is this true? Can I get health insurance after 31st march and still claim it 80D for FY 19-20? Is it same for investments under 80C?

What if I make an investment in April, can I claim it under FY 20-21 or will it be clubbed with my investments in FY 19-20?

You can claim deductions as per recent press release. But, The investments due will fall on or before 31st Mar-20.

It's mean Any payment dues is April-20 and You paid it on or before 30th Jun-2020 then You can't claim it in FY 19-20...

For Your health insurance due is on or before 31st Mar-20. But, You paid it in on or before 30th Jun-2020 then You can claim such payment (deduction) in FY 19-20 ITR...
