We have purchased material from our supplier in between 2015 to 2018 and the material was defective.
Now the supplier has agreed to write off his old dues and issue the credit note.
Is GST Liability will be there, can he issue credit note without GST

As per my view no. he can't issue credit note without GST.
GST will be applicable .
