Date Of Birth , Name does not match for Authorized Signatory

There can be mismatch in DOB as per aadhaar and PAN since GSTIN is PAN based and both should match for proprietor.

But there is connection between bank account addition and DOB Mismatch

here the situation is :

1. Before getting the GST Registration there was name as N. AAA in both Aadhaar and PAN.

2. After getting the GST certification but before to upload the Bank Account Details in GST Portal, the initial has been changed from N. AAA to K. AAA. ( Before Certification initial as her father name,
after Certification initial as her husband's name)

This initial changed both in Aadhaar and PAN card.

3. In this situation, how can we add the Bank account details in GST portal.

There cannot be mismatch in date of birth in Pan and adhaar

Your name and date of birth should match with PAN.That is why the error occured

Date of birth , name , father name these can be different in PAN and aadhaar and that's why many were unable to link aadhaar with PAN..

Coming to the query, better to apply for amendment in GST registration since Legal name is already alloted to GST which is changed in PAN and Aadhaar .

So change legal name in GST also

No ammendment in gst registration required/desirable. A wrong approach.

When name on PAN is changed , Name in GST also to be changed..

There will be two names on GST certificate, Legal Name and Trade name ..You must change Legal else above issue may repeat ..
