It is a Fake circular. No date has been extended.

Well there is no such update on Income Tax Website yet, not even on official page of Income Tax on Twitter.

I guess you should rely on news you have seen on TV Channel and continue filing your returns till 5th  Sept, without paying Fine. 

yes the date have been extended for kerala state only....

Not sure of this. Unless it comes on Website. I have not seen anything on Biz channels nor NDTV.

Do you know from where you downloaded the attachment??

Its an official document, but forged one.

If the original site do not take its responsibility, just think what can happen to you for publishing such forged document in media.

For your information, the e-filling site has released new utilities effective from 1.9.2018 with penalty u/s. 234F...........
