Refer to above post. In that I said students not to panic because costing was tough.Lot of them said the paper is going to be tough, ICAI is going to reduce marks blah blah blah etc. I said the rest of papers are going to be easy and i also explained the reason. So dont worry even if u have in case not done IT well. Paper correction will be moderate. Concentrate on just one more paper and forget the course. All the best.

The paper of DT was easy

paper was moderate, exemption is little difficult.

In question No 2 A - b  it is stated as " excavation of  inhabitants " should it not be "evacuation of inhabitants"

Doubt:

Can any one tell me whether Stamp Duty was to be deducted (after indexation) or was that to be totally ignored in CAPITAL GAINS Ques? Considering that we will be taking 1981 FMV as cost of acquisition. Will stamp duty be something like an improvement of title?? [Refer  Ques 2 B]

Murthy it doesnt matter.....as long as it is paid to Mafia Don.....it is illegal.
