i switched over from old syllabus 2002 to 2008 when i have to complete my training (industrial training12 months/training under practicing cost accountants 6 months) before or after appearing in final exams. as my registration period ends (valid) up to 2013 only . if i register for final course before dec5 2011 when i am eligible to take exams, is it in June 2012 or December 2012. please clarify on eligibility conditions of appearing in final exams with respect/regard to my case/condition . kindly reply

I have seeing your this query from many weeks ago. No one has solved this. Hence, I advise you to put the query before the nearest Chapter office through an e-mail. Wait for 10days period for the answer from them, if not received, forward the same mail to concerned e-mail id of Regional Office. Wait for another week, if still not received, forward it to Head Office. This is the best procedure to get correct answer. Talking over phone to them may not work out. This will stand as a proof to them which is pending before them to get it resolved.

In order to be eligible for the Final exam in Dec 2012 term, you must complete minimum 6 months of practical training. A circular in this regard is available in icwa website for your reference. As per the present structure of training, one can have liberty to start the training at any stage which may be either after inter or even after final exams. However, after passing Final exams, you can use Grad.CWA only after your name, till you completes the prescribed training requirement. If you appear for June 2012 exams then training requirement is not mandatory to appear for the June 2012 exams.
