how was the today campus placement programme at mumbai centre anyone got placed please share about it and your experience with companies you have attended.

WIRC (ICWAI) CAMPUS PLACEMENT : Oct 2011

The campus placement was conducted at a managment institute in ghatkopar on 15.10.2011

The Partcipating companies wer

1) TCS

2) HCC (HIGHBAR TECH)

3)CIPLA 

4)RASHMI HOUSING PVT LTD

5)ZAMIL STEEL PVT LTD

> TCS had a very strong eligblity criteria like 1 st attempt cwa n 60 % throught nd all they were offering about 4.78 lakhs for about 7 vacs .The candidates had to undergo rigorous aptitude tests and interviews about 27 candidates appeared out of which only 3 were selected

>Cipla was offering a competative salary however it needed about 1 yr industrial experience 

it had 5+ vacancies , shortlisted candidates were mostly called after 4-5 days

> Rashmi housing needed 2 candidates they were offering mostly 3-5 lakhs 

> ZAMIL STEEL was the highest offerer in terms of salary as they had there vacancies in Saudi  Arabia    mostly and 1 in pune they were offering min 6 (net)

Remaining Companies such as Vedanta Infra , Coal India etc have shortlisted there candidates and  list of them is available in training and placement section  on website , there interviews are scheduled at delhi

due to reccesionary conditions the placement cycle was affected however due to various new regulations imposed on companies the future demand is definately going to increase

had calls made for cipla already??or results are awaited??
