CWA

Hey buddies........ Yesterday i have been to ICWA institute to get the form to register for Intermediate.......... I was a bit shocked by the fee structure...... It costs around Rs17200/- for regisration alone including Computer Training for which Rs.6000/- is charged......... As far as i know, for professional courses our harwork and time is the major investment......... But here i really have to invest a descent amount ......... And i wonder they wont provide any exemptions if u clear CA FInal while they provide exemption in 3 papers for CS people......... Can any one doing CWA clarify as to why this partiality???????

Priya madam, I don’t want to comment on fee structure because I don’t know the fee structure of other institutes.  As far as exemption is concerned, I think it is very good step taken by ICWAI by not providing any exemption to ICAI pass outs.  You are just looking at the one side of the picture.  There are 4 papers exemption in ICWAI and 4 papers exemption in ICSI that means the exemption are from both sides.  But, have you seen any exemption in ICAI for cost accountants or company secretaries?  ICAI is not ready to provide any exemption then how can you even think that ICWAI should provide exemption to Chartered Accountants.  Students from both the sides should be benefited.

Hi priya even i was aghast to see the fee charged for ICWAI for intermediate ..once courses like CA/ICWA were know to be cheap and best..and now every thing has changed ...this people are leaving no stone unturned for finding different ways to extract money from the student...but i can suggest you a way to reduce the fee as much as possible.first thing take postel coaching instead of regular...this will reduce almost 4000/5000 RS...next if you have already done any basic diploma in computers u can get an exemption by showing the certificate.....even for getting that exemption you have to pay 1000 bucks what an irony....the min amount will be

registration 500

practical training 1000

postel 7000

computer exemption 1000

gd/bc/      1200

total amounts to 10,700

By the by where are u locating.

what If ???

even if they start charging Rs 1,00,000/-. ??????????????

no option but to pay .

money should not be constaint for the degree/certificate.

those who wanna do will do at any cost .

and as far as fee is concerned , it has been such from last 1-2 years only,

the only thing is that, you came to know now.

no jus dont thing anything in that part.

Agree with u..

In reality !!!!!!!

all the CA students (final and PCC/IPCC/PE-II)  take the expenditure on their own.

i guess it shall be more than 95% of the students.

Only these days people coming from CPT, along with B.com, are dependents on their parents for the money. (may be only few only)

And one more fact , about me,  i was working for CA firm , before start of articlship.

and i borne all my expenditre since strating of my TY.bom till date.

and as far as cost for our own education is concerned, there is no option but to arranenge it anyhow,

after all (additional & further) eductaion is must for us.

if we are determined to do it, we will definitly do at any cost , including monetary.

Regards

Amit Ingale.
