Cst registration

If a dealer is registered under MVAT ( Only VAT not CST) and now he wants to get registered under CST, whether the application is to be made under Voluntory scheme ? In such case will he need an introduction from an already registered dealer as required in Voluntory scheme? If the dealer has effected some inter state purchase before such registration, can he get form C for such transaction? If yes what will be the required procedure?

1) whether the application is to be made under Voluntory scheme ?

Ans - Depend on dealer. If u have a urgency the go for Voluntary scheme but u have to pay Rs.5,025/- as registration fee.

If u wait till Rs.1,00,000/- CST sales then u can take registration under compulsory scheme, then u have to pay registration fee only Rs.25/-.

2) In such case will he need an introduction from an already registered dealer as required in Voluntory scheme?

Ans - There is no need for this, as u r already VAT register dealer.

3) If the dealer has effected some inter state purchase before such registration, can he get form C for such transaction?

Ans. - No.

Can we resort to application under administrative relief for period previous to registration year and then file returns for the said period and apply for C Forms?
