Csr committee ?????
As per section 135 of company act 2013 csr committee must consist of at least 3 director and out of these at least 1 director should be independent director.
how can a private co having only 2 directors can comply with this requirement?????

My Query:
Is CSR compulsory for private Companies also?
1] CSR is applicable for all companies having some threshold limits.
2] Independent director Criteria is only for Listed Co. and Unlisted public Co.
3] If your Pvt Ltd company is applicable for CSR Provisions , then as per MCA clarification , Appointment of Independent Director is not necessary in such committee , where it is not mandatory to appoint such ID for that company.
