I have cleared my PCC in May'08. Big Four is not recruiting transfer cases like that of mine. So in the meanwhile I am planning to get a Degree. CFA(US) Level I in June'09, will it be difficult for CA PCC Student with all the heavy investment.? Or is it better to go for the safer option CS?
hey...e1 i hv cleared my pcc in may'08....so our final attempt comes 2 b may 10....i don think its wise 2 go 4 CFA in june 09.... articleship and final tuitions would keep u occupied...... moreover u would have to drop CFA after level 1 in this case to write your CA final in may 10...better would be 2 complete CA first and den look 4 options like CFA.....
go ahead.............you have time for final CA exam...inbetween you can give exam of CFA, but try only CFA(US) not the indian CFA from ICFAI

Hi All,
Dont' join a course, just because its a fad as others a doing. Look all the international CFAs' cud not use their analytical skills to forecast the financial turmoil among others.
Like CA, CFA,USA & CFA India are good it their own ways. Both the CFAs require rigorous study & commitment. The knowledge pre-requisites are demanding & my personal opinion is other Indian courses like ICWAI,ICS,ICA dont really give enough grounding..
Actually the younger students are more intelligent than the course content of these degrees.
So pursue a course after analysing it in unbaised way.
