Cs query: need advice

I am a CA final student in my first year of articleship. I want to pursue CS. The problem is that my firm is not giving me permission for CS. Therefore my principal will not sign Form 112. The only option left to me is to pursue CS without submitting Form 112 to ICAI. I want to know if I pursue CS without submitting Form 112, then will I face any problem in future?

My second question is - Is it compulsory to do SIP within 6 months of registration for CS Executive? If I am not able to do SIP within 6 months, then will I not be eligible for CS Executive?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

well you do need to complete sip training  but a few of my friends cleared executive withgout undergoing sip and have not received any notice or anything .. it would b better to seek permission in form 112 ..

Dear,  Mr. Mukherjee

You can opt for the CS course even without filing form no.112 (as per the ICAI regulations). But that is a risk on your part.

I would like to tell you that one of my frien was debarred from CA course just because he had't filed the required form and he was just doing M.COM from a regular college.

so choice is yours.

Secondly, It is't necessary to do SIP within 6 months of the registration as I myself still without SIP even after the a period of 2 years of my registration.

So, you can very well appear in the exams.

I do not see any reason why your boss should object you from taking up CS program, since the Institute permits to undertake other course by intimation in Form 112. Try convince your principal about your career ambitions, always resolve issues through mutual exchange of information. SIP is one week program and you can plan it accordingly, and yes ICSI has permitted candidates to appear in the examination, even when they have not undergone some training.I hope you are aware of new training and change of syllabus in CS program.

Dear,

You can pursue CS even without submitting Form 112, since the institute says you have submit Form 112 in case where you have to attend classes(Eg. Bcom, MCom, MBA where classes are conducted by their respective colleges) but in case of CS there are no classes (Like CA).

So dont worry and you can join CS with your CA and articles.

All the best...!!!yes

Best Regards....
