For June 2016 attempt, Finance Act, 2015 is applicable, ensure you keep yourself updated on various amendments and changes brought out in the Act.

You may be advised to take copies of relevant extracts from standard Authors books. For instance, you may refer to Vinod Gupta's Module on Taxation of Companies, International Taxation etc in Direct Taxes. Similarly, for Indirect taxes you can plan to buy Vineeth Sodhani's book.
