	Dear Professional colleagues, I am writing CS executive-OLD exam in Dec 2014 both modules. Is compnies act 2013 is applicable? Also for taxes subject, which AY is applicable? Thanks in Advance.

Applicability of Companies Act, 1956 and the Companies Act, 2013 for December 2014 Executive Programme (Old and New Syllabus) Examinations:

-> Sections of the Companies Act, 2013 which have come into force by 30th June, 2014 shall be applicable.

-> The Rules under the Companies Act, 2013 which have come into force by 30th June, 2014 shall be applicable.

-> Provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 and the rules made thereunder which continue to be in force as on 30th June, 2014 shall be applicable.

The Assessment Year for December 2014 examination is 2014-15. Besides all other changes made through Notifications etc. and made effective six months prior to the examination will also be applicable.
