Cs executive level - please help regarding sip and it exam

PLease heLp me regarding :

1. Exemption reLated to Computer Training is availed but i want the text books to study for online exam of ICSI. CAn someone tell any book for same.

2. SIP, can it be exempted as i have done orientation in CS.

3. A friend of mine passed CS Exec Grp-1 and gave Grp-2, told me that its is not a mandate to post Self assessment answer sheets to ICSI before exams. He dint send any n recd admit card successively. Aren't those sheets a mandate to send.

For response sheet, i dont know why institute says its mandatory? As i submitted it long back but they dont updated the status against my account. Even my 2 friends are doing final who not submitted it.

Can you please tell me something about this ONLINE COMPUTER EXAM and STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAMME (SIP).

I want to know the text book to refer for this COMPLUTER EXAM and if this SIP can be EXEMPTED as i have done my ORIENTATION in CA.

Computer traning Includes 1.MS-Office(55-65 marks) 2.Computerised accounting(20-25 marks) 3.MCA 21(10-25marks) I think it will help You.

Dear Parth.

Find below the Exemption criteria of SIP-

Eligibility criteria for claming exemption from Student Induction

Programme

The candidates fulfilling the following criteria may apply in the prescribed

format for the exemption from undergoing SIP:

(i) Candidates having one year of working experience as assistant or any other

post equivalent thereto by whatever name called or any other higher grade

thereto in the field of Finance, Secretarial, Human Resource, Marketing, General

Administration, Teaching, Research etc. in any body corporate, government

body, statutory or autonomous body, public undertaking, financial institution,

banks, consultancy firms, Law firms or any other organization/institution which

in the opinion of the Council provides scope for adequate exposure for exemption

from Students Induction Programme (SIP),

(ii) Candidates possessing Post Graduate Degree or 2 years Post Graduate

Diploma in any stream,

(iii) Candidates possessing professional qualification e.g CA, CWA,LL.B,

BE/B.Tech/B.Arch, MBBS, Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Businesses

Administration/ Management, MCA or any other qualification as approved by

the Council from time to time.

Students seeking exemption may apply within six months from the date of

registration in the Executive Programme.

The students who were enrolled on or after 1st September 2009 and yet not

undergone the SIP may also apply for the exemption.
