You have heard that is correct Cpt registration is valid for 3 year from the date of registration date.

But if you had registered before 12 standard than 3 year starts from your 1st exam ie, your june exam .

If than you are falling in re-registration part than you are required to make dd of rs. 500 payable to ICAI not at new delhi but to your own regional office that is the point you should take care off.
