is cpt online eaxam is going to happen in october 2011 means this year too ? And those have not passed in july 2011 can they apply ? Please help.

No announcement for online exam yet from ICAI.
Will it going to happen or not ?
Yes, the upcoming CA-CPT exam will be online.
Date of Exam: 18th of December, 2011
Application forms will be available from: 2nd week of October
Last date to apply would be: 28th of October, 2011.
Cost of Application Form, Information Brochure and Examination Fee : Rs.1000/-
You can also fill the application form online and make the payment online to save Rs.500/-.
The online application will be done from 7th of October to 28th of October, 2011.
Number of times candidate can appear
With First Registration the CA aspirant has to clear the CPT Exam within a Period of 3 Years. And in this period the student is allowed to take 2 exams within a period of six months i.e. 1 Online Exam and 1 Paper Pencil.
Likewise ICAI is continuously organizing the Online Exams around 6 times a year and 2 Paper Pencil Exams a year i.e. in June and December. Student is allowed to take exam 1 Online and 1 Paper Pencil mode within a period of 6 months.
Sir I am asking abour online mode of exam that should occur between july and december of paper pencil mode. There is no information of online exam yet in icai site.
