Hi Folks,
I have completed MBA , is it necessary to attend CPT or directly i can appear for CA exam.
I have seen some where non commerce&non mths students with 55% are elgible for CA .
Please let me know the exact details about CA elgibility.

Hi Prasanth,
Since the Inception of New scheme of Education & Training in August 2006,its necessary for every candidate to clear CPT first..
Exemption was given in old scheme,where graduates were exempted from PE I(Foundation like CPT)...
Now,to proceed with CA,u need to attempt & clear CPT.
CPT is Compulsory.................
cpt exam is complusory no matter what study or course he has done

prashant to enter in CA u need to clear ntrance xam i.e.CPT..
its a 200 mrks xam n to clear u need to score a minimum of 100 marks...
