There is a proposal before the government for its approval to exempt graduates from appearing in CPT. But whole CPT is not abolished. And government is yet to approve above ICAI proposal. Don't rely on any rumours. Just keep visiting icai.org website for official announcements. As of now, everyone has to appear for CPT who wish to enter IPCC.

उदयपुर. चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट बनने के इच्छुक स्टूडेंट्स के लिए अच्छी खबर है। अब वे सीपीटी (कॉमन प्रोफिशिएंसी टेस्ट) दिए बगैर भी सीए में प्रवेश पा सकेंगे, लेकिन इसके लिए स्नातक में निर्धारित अंक प्राप्त करने होंगे।
कॉमर्स ग्रेजुएट के लिए कम से कम 55 प्रतिशत और नॉन कॉमर्स ग्रेजुएट के लिए 60 प्रतिशत अंक तय किए गए हैं। द इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट्स ऑफ इंडिया (आईसीएआई) के अध्यक्ष सीए जी. रामास्वामी ने यह जानकारी रविवार को शुरू हुई चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट्स की दो दिवसीय कॉन्फ्रेंस में दी।
दो माह में लागू हो सकते हैं प्रस्ताव
रामास्वामी ने बताया कि काउंसिल ने यह प्रस्ताव केंद्र को भेजा था, जिसे मंजूरी दे दी गई। अब इसे पब्लिक कमेंट के लिए वेबसाइट पर डाला जाएगा। इसके लिए 45 दिन का समय दिया जाएगा। इस दौरान मिलने वाले सुझावों को काउंसिल के सामने रखा जाएगा।
प्रस्ताव को लागू होने में करीब 2 महीने लग सकते हैं। उदयपुर में आयोजित कांफ्रेंस आईसीएआई की उदयपुर शाखा व कमेटी फॉर केपिसिटी बिल्डिंग ऑफ सीए फर्म्स एंड स्मॉल-मीडियम प्रेक्टिशनर्स के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में हुई। इसमें मुंबई, दिल्ली, राजस्थान आदि के करीब 500 से अधिक सीए ने हिस्सा लिया।
