CPE Requirement?????

as soon as get enrolled , u become the member of the institute and have ur name in register of members .. Thus need to comply the CPE requirements

U can also check the staus on cpeicai.org using

userid --ur membership no

password --cpe(ur membership no)

I am asking what are my cpe reqts year wise to comply with the procedures..

Every year minimum 10hrs and 45 hrs in 3- year rolling period

As far as I know, in the first year, the members are exempted from this requirement.

Anshika and CAKVK thank u very much for giving the info....But , I went through the ICAI website, and found that for the first year of Membership ther is no complaince of CPE reqts..This was the exemption given by the Institute to the newly enrolled Members..

What I need is?

what was the first year in my case? ie 2009 (Date of Enrollement, which was mentioned in the letter) or 2010 the date on which  I received the letter from the Institute? Which year I will consider as first year, based on that I can get exemption?
