I have the following doubts regarding CPE requirements , pls clarify if any body have idea on them...
I got enrolled as member On 30-12-2009,
So What is my CPE compliance in the year of 2009,2010?
Since I got enrolled on the last day of 2009, I think for that year I am not in a position to comply with that?
And I am not holding COP !!!

as soon as get enrolled , u become the member of the institute and have ur name in register of members .. Thus need to comply the CPE requirements
U can also check the staus on cpeicai.org using
userid --ur membership no
password --cpe(ur membership no)

Every year minimum 10hrs and 45 hrs in 3- year rolling period
As far as I know, in the first year, the members are exempted from this requirement.

Anshika and CAKVK thank u very much for giving the info....But , I went through the ICAI website, and found that for the first year of Membership ther is no complaince of CPE reqts..This was the exemption given by the Institute to the newly enrolled Members..
What I need is?
what was the first year in my case? ie 2009 (Date of Enrollement, which was mentioned in the letter) or 2010 the date on which I received the letter from the Institute? Which year I will consider as first year, based on that I can get exemption?
