Costing in TALLY 9

Dear member,

i you case what i u/s is that you buy various products and the sell it in lot.

First you create a Stock Item For Each Lot No You Sell.

while creating Stock Item - In Item Creation Menu Press f12 and Make Below Changes

Allow COmponen List Details (BIll Of Material ) - Yes

On Doing SO YOu will Get Option FOr Creating BOM FOr Particular Lot.

create the Bom and Save the Lot.

After This

Go to Inventory Vouchers - Stock Journal.

In Production Menu Select Lot no (New Item Created)

and mention qty . It WIll show Items Consumed Automatically on Right Side Window Of Stock Journal .

Save the Entry.

Go - to Sales

Select Lot No In Item Name And Sale Price.

(In Case You need to provide details of each item in lot to your customer, you can take a print of stock journal entry along with sales invoice and send it to your supplier.
