I have taken a pvt ltd comapny 4 years back and have not been doing business since last 4 years. Since there is no Income I have neglected in filling any returns.
But recently I have started to get projects and initiated a few. When I have checked the company master data in MCA, the status is Dormant and the signatories of the company as - The company is in default of filing of Form DIN 3/ Form 32
I have approached an auditor regarding this and in order to regularize, but even on ZERO returns for last four years, he is demanding 25,000 per year (I have to use 4 forms and each form is 500 and penalty is 4500 for each, so total of 20000 for forms and 5000 miscellaneous charges). I find this too expensive,
Am I being taken for a ride?
