Ministry has decided that all the Cost Audit Reports and Compliance report for the year 2011-12 onwards to be send on XBRL mode only.

Therefore, all the Cost Auditors and Companies to which are liable to file Cost Audit Report in Form I and Compliance Report in form A are requested to file their report with Central Government in XBRL Mode only after 30^th June, 2012.

Form I and form A in XBRL Format will soon be notified.

Please tell me the same XBRL taxonomy shall be used for Cost Audit Report and Annual Filing of Companies Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss A/c or there is different software for Cost Audit Details.

So far the matter is not clear, only Product Group Classifications have been issued by the Ministry and no news regarding taxanomy is being circulated.

Filing of cost audit report and compliance certificate has been allowed upto 31st December, 2012 without additional fee.

XBRL forms will soon be notified.
