which are the cost accounting records compulsurily to be maintained by the company? and which are the limits for the company for applying this rule.

Sec 209(1)(d) explains the cost a/c records to be maintained by the company.....the rules for maintaining such records for differant industries are released throught GSR's(General Statutory Rules) which are issued and published in the Gazette........

The applicability varies to diff industries with the dates on which such rules are published.........

However these rules dont apply to-

->SSI's with aggregate value of machinery and Plant not exceeding the limit prescribed by the Industries(Development and Regulation) Act 1951

->Aggregate value of turnover in the preceeding yr. doesnt exceed Rs.10 crores....
