Correction in 26as

In my 26as for fy 2020-21 an entry is appearing under the section 194IB ie rent paid to resident which is not pertaining to me. I informed my employer to rectify but not done sofar. How can I file my return for fy 2020-21

194IB is related to TDS on rental income. Employer cannot do anything about it. Probably, someone might have mentioned your PAN by mistake. See if you can reduce this while filing ITR.

Contact such person through searching for PAN / TAN / GOOGLE otherwise your IT return might get query unnecessarily
