Conversion of partnership firm into private limited co.

Hi all, is the requirement to having minimum 7 partners in the partnership firm for conversion into a private limited company mandatory. Also should the partnership firm be registered?

no 2 partners can will work for conversion from pship to pvt ltd

First of all you have to realize all your assets and liabilities of your partnership firm and dissolved the firm completely.
Then, follow up the procedure to incorporate a company which is provided in Section-7 of the companies Act, 2013

Only 2 members are required to incorporate a private limited company
and for public limited company the min. member is 7.
