Conversion from pcc ti ipc

I suppose the position in IPCC will be the same as though you have scored an exemption in the relevant papers...and the marks shall be taken accordingly...

but i dont think you are required to attempt those papers again...

EVEN I HAVE THE SAME DOUBT...I HAVE CLEARED GROUP 1 OF PCC AND 2ND GROUP IS STILL UNCLEARED ......HOW MUCH MARKS DO I NEED TO SCORE IN IPCC TO PASS ACCORDING TO UNIT SCHEME...I'M GOING TO ICAI MUMBAI TOMO...HOPEFULLY THINGS WOULD BE CLEARER...

Hi, I have cleared Group 2, Will I be allowed to attend May 2013 IPCC exam as I still have not converted to IPCC. I will be applying for conversion tomorow. Please suggest, Thanks in Advance.

Plzz.. do post abt the conversion procedure.. I am feeling like I have lost everything by disqualifying pcc grp2...

 I cleared group I and got exemption in Taxation.

I have tried to register for the online application of IPC for may 2013, it shows that my regn no (SRO) and Date of Birth are not found in their database and atlast i registered by the provisional method does any one experience the same issue?

If any one knows the reason and remedy for the same please reply soon.

same situation with me too , cleared 1st group and exemption in tax

and when i tried to register for may13 exmz it shows me the same provisional.....

so do we have to convert 1st from pcc to ipc ???

and we have to apply for unit-8 and will get the exemtion ???

and what will be the passing marks and can we also sit in final examz in NOV13 ???

@ Mr.Ankit, Thank u sir for ur kind advice.. I wanted to know conversion procedure from PCC to IPCC as bcoz from now onwrds pcc exams wont be conducted by ICAI.. Today I visited our branch office nd got some information regarding conversion... I hv to fillup d conversion form along with DD of Rs 500.. n I vl b eligible to appear in May 2013 exam...Bt I dont know wen will I get books n all.. Lets see...

i am a pcc student and i tried to fill the online form for ipc may 2013 and it said the reg no. and DoB not found on database..

i have now filled up the conversion form with dd of 500 rs and will attach a copy of registration certificate of pcc along with ITT certificate and articleship completion certificate...guess that should be enough !

and meanwhile i'll also fill up the exam form on a provisioal basis and attach necessary copy of documents !

i think they deleted the database for pcc students to enter the IPC regn.

i ve another doubt that if we convert to IPC does it results in change in Registration No??

I too applied for conversion and going to apply the exams in provn. basis

but my only doubt is whether our regn no will change or not?

thats nothing new...but they havnt mentioned any last date or if exam and registration forms can be sent simultaneously ! what bout the provisional exam form thats being asked to fill ?
