Announcement-Constitution of Study Groups - (09-07-2009)
1st July, 2009
The President, in terms of the authority given to him by the Council at its 285th meeting held from 3rd to 5th February, 2009, and based on the recommendations of Chairman, Board of Studies has constituted the following Study Groups for the purposes mentioned therein :-
A. Group for E-learning
Dr. Nupur Prakash, Addl. Director, BOS shall act as Secretary to the above Group.
B. Group for Educational initiatives and IT training
Shri K. Tulsiani, Joint Secretary, BOS shall act as Secretary to the above Group.
C. Group for considering issues relating to permitting CPT students to appear in CA Final Exam during the last six months of their articles and reduction in the period of articles for PCC students from 3 ½ years to 3 years
Shri V. Sagar, Joint Secretary, M&SS shall act as Secretary to the above Group.
D. Group for considering modalities including timeframe for implementation of mandatory coaching classes for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) students
Dr. N.N. Sengupta, Asstt. Director shall act as Secretary to the above Group
The aforesaid Group(s) would submit their Reports to the Board of Studies at the earliest possible.

if the articleship term for PCC students get reduced to 3 years.......for those of us who are completing our 2nd yr of articleship......what about the industrial training............how will v know wen to get registered for dat..........(since it s mandatory to do min 9 months.......)
