I have a doubt regarding consolidation of associate, i.e. whether subsidiaries of associate are also to be consolidated with the investor company of associate? step down subsidiary requires the intermediate company to be the subsidiary of investor comapny, so i think that only separate financials of the associate company will be consolidated with investor company. Please clarify.
In case of associate, we need to do the equity pick up only. If associate also have subsidiary, equity pick up will be done on the basis of consolidated FS of associate.
