sir i have a quire in section 23 of gst act ,on line billing with concecutive serial number in gst , fmcg distributors r billing by using online software of different companies with different series in one single firm in present act (vat), can it continued in gst ,or must maintain single serial numbers for all companies ? if yes all companies has to stop online billing can any body suggest me regarding this

It doesn't make any diff with the current regim and in the GST too. In case of purchaser you don't have to maintain any particular series for invoice uploadation. Whatever u have received from the seller that particular detaila u should have to upload it. As in case of seller only they have to maintain series of invoices so that the same can be uploaded
