confusion about c.a. final attempt

hwever we r expecting a releif of apperaing in last 6 months of training from the ICAI very soon

 thanx anurag... i was confused becoz i have also heard about the relief of last 6 month of training

we r expecting it bcoz 1. its first time 3.5 years training for CPT passers

2. ICAI has instituted a commitee on 01/07/09 for reduction of PCC articleship period by 6 month

nw either of 1 we r expecting ie either reduction of period or releif of appearing in last 6 month as followed by the ICAI in past

lets hope for the best i m also not sure abt my attempt whether it b may 10 or nov 10

but wht abt DT n IDT can we expect Direct tax codes 09 n GST respectively in DT n IDT paper in nov 10

Anurag even i had the same confusion my articleship will be completin on 6th Jan 011 so as per old phase my final attempt will be due in May 011 bt as u said it can get preponded by 6 months, even i had started my coaching for NOV 10 only bt we dont have any confirmation if un know niothing furthur plz let us inform thanx

Well until the Notification comes from ICAI, ur attempt is due in MAY 11, but i prefer you to complete ur syllabus at the earliest as the syllabus of CA Final is very vast, so better prepared at one attempt early and it will give u lot of time for revision even if the attempt is extended to MAY 11. But avoid joining classes of DT, as it may result into various amendments till ur attempts

YAAR SAME PROBLEM, MY ARTICLESHIP ALSO COMPLETING AFTER NOV 10 ATTEMPT, IF RELIEF FROM ICAI BEEN RECD. THAT ALSO FINAL ATTEMPT  IN NOV 10. GADBADI HI JAYEGI YAAR.
