surbhi bansal is more than suffiicient. just complete that book.

Surbhi Bansal Mam"s book is good enough for SA point of view but in my opinion it is not good for conceptual understanding. You can refer paduka for conceptual understanding. 

Prefer Surbi bansal mam book with study material. It is sufficient. do not go for any other book it will waste your time.

Isha, frankly speaking there is no single book which is perfect for Auditing..

i have gone through many books and realised that best option is to pick n choose...

If u want detailed study of each chapter use padukas....it has detailed notes, with plenty of practice questions. (padukas is must for Ethics)

If u want do give less focus on some topics, go for smaller books like Bansal. It is very concise. ideal for revsion but deftly not enough for proper study.

For SAs and AS u should refer some std book like Rawats.

IN MY OPINION go with surbhi mam book, but shud also refer compiler/scaneer for auditing specially for case studies. read particular topic from mam book & see what type of question had been asked on that topic. Hope this will help u. BYE

dude u hve to consult more than one book,and ione shud be preferably be the module,becoz in VK Aggarwal 's book also some chapters are in sufficient or poorly dealt with...

I think you should plan you audit subject as keeping module with you while preparing form any other book.

As it is the tendency of the institute that to ask from the publications of ICAI so go for compilation also in case you need it.

The points that you dont conceptually get cleared in Surbhi mam's book.. Refer Padhuka for that points..
