can we know whether a party is under composite levy with its gstin number if yes how??

no you cannot find out with the gstin number.... you can find out by the invoice istelf as the composite dealer is authorised to issue only bill of supply intead of tax invoice

my clent has recived a invoice in which party is under conposite levy scheme were as my client has recorded cost and sgst in its book and claim ITc
cannot claim ITC when supply is from a person from composition levy because they are not allowed to collect tax and take credit of input tax section 10(4) so the recepient cant take ITC
