A company has received a notice from ROC to file CFI CSR form for CSR compliance done by the company for the FY 2015-16. The Company has not spend the amount on the CSR activities and has also not stated any reason for non compliance of the same in its Directors Report.
Now will filing of form CFI CSR will suffice the requirement of ROC or any penalty will be imposed in this regard.
You first fill and submit the form. After considering the merits of your reply and nature of your violations RoC will issue SCN. Meanwhile you visit the RoC office and ask for help in this matter. You can also take the help of Practicing Company Secretaries, as these people are familiar with the RoC.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to know when did you handled the said case. As in recent past many of the Companies had received this notice.
