Completion of articles

Hello Friends,

I would like to know the procedure to be followed for the Completion of Articles.

From what I have seen in Institute website is that I need to furnish Form 119 (For Issue of Service Certificate) and Form 108 (Certificate of Service under Articles). I am not sure if  I need to submit Form 108.

I had completed articles for 12 months in one Firm (2010-2011), and then took termination and completed  the rest 24 months in another firm (2011-12 & 2012-13).  Would the procedure differ ??

Article-ship completion due is : 01-Oct-2013.

Kindly help me in the above regard.

Form 119 says, Form for request by the Articled Assistant to his Principal for issuance of Service Certificate in event of Completion of articles.

 

You want to fill up 119 to request your CA to sign your form 108?

Why don't you get your form 108 signed directly?

Form 119 is to be filled when the CA insists on having more paper-work or, is troubling to sign 108.

You have to send it to your regional council.

Yes, it's simple as that! Thoroughly go through the form and then fill it.

Form 108 is the only form you need to fill if you are doing your articleship in Chartered Accountancy Firm. The Form 108 will have the details of all the precious firms you were in and total of your articleship period leave period etc. please make sure that you calculate the days properly and fill them because slight wrong calculation might lead to and extension of your articleship for foew days.
