Company secretary
Can anyone tell me if the proprietorship business firm is already registered on my name.. So in that case can i start my own practice as a Company Secretary by taking certificate of practice.??

No u cannot start business.using same registration certificate.
I think you can not start by taking full time COP. However you can do in other firm by taking part time COP if provided by Institute. Generally Institute does not issue part time COP easily.
Normally professional institutes like CA, CS, CWA don't allow it's members to pursue any other business while in Practice.
