I wish to claify:
Case: Actauallly the Company's registered name is ABC Technoclinic pvt. Ltd. It has been alloted an Service tax registration No. But the records in the Service Tax department is ABC Technologies Pvt. Ltd. while making e-filing of returns the ABC Technologies Pvt. Ltd is acknowledged. but the Service tax registration No is matching.
Our client has withheld the service tax amount to be paid for non submission of remitance proof...now the above said case happened.i.e.remitance proof is obtained as detailed above.
Whether the name of the Company is relevent and it needs to be Updated in the dept. records or name of the company is not relevent when the no. is correct.
