what is the difference between fully paid up, and fully called up.
see the sum and try to answer:
forfeited 500 shares issued @ 10 each called up value of which is Rs. 9 due to non payment of 1st call money of Rs. 4 each. of the above 200 equity shares were reissued @ 8 each 9 paid up. pass journal entry for forfeiture and reissue of shares. If I put the word 9 called up inspite of 9 paid up then whats the difference.

BUT PAID UP AMT. IS THAT WHICH IS PAID BY THE SHAREHOLDER TO THE COMPANY FOR ITS SHAREHOLDINGS
