Is Companies Bill 2008 accepted ? If yes, was it applicable for June2009 exam?
Read as it has been reintroduced with few changes as Companies Bill 2009 ?

Companies bill 2008 has only been presented in the parliament and is still pending approval. For May 2010 i suppose for CA final you will have to wait till october to see whether it has been passed or not. For November 2009 attempt applicable act is the Companies Act 1956 only. And if you are appearing for CS final in June 2010 you will still have to wait. June 2009 attempt has already gone and the applicable act was the companies act

Companies bill 2008 have been withdrawn by the Cabinat. New Companies bill 2009 will presented soon. It will incorporate stricter goverance after the Satyam Scam.
