No need to take gstin as per law if turnover is less than 20 lakh... However if u wish u can take voluntary... Now RCM has been suspended from 15 th October... Before rcn applicable @ 18% if u has booked the entry and deduct tds @ 5% excluding of gst portion
sir
There is one thing regarding commission agent is that as per section 24(7) agent should take registration under GST ACT without crossing the limit.

please kindly read this section for compulsory registraion and pls cnfrm me.

thanx
Haha when u know the provision then why ask... Yes agent is required to taken gstin irrespective of his turnover... I gave reply not considering commison agents.. An individual also work on commission
Yes I read the provision but I was little bit confused regarding this one...

Actually we have some individuals persons who built up our sale arranging the buyers and we paid 1% comission on total supplies.

so in this regard I want to know that should our firm need to pay GST under reverse charge OR that person are responsible to pay GST.
Better to say him take gstin... If he is wholly engaged in commision agents business.... Rcm not applicable... When they r required to get gstin
Thanx a lot

RCM suspention date is 13th October  2017.
