COMMISSION INCOME OF DISTRIBUTOR

Airtel company sends the commission (of retailers) to distributor who disburses the commission to retailers.

Airtel deducts TDS from whole commission @ PAN of Distributor
Now the whole commission which is income of retailers is reflected in income of sole distributor.

What distributor should do, so that commission shown in his 26AS of retailers do not form part of Distributors income ?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a common issue for Airtel distributors: managing commission income when Airtel deducts TDS at the distributor's PAN. The core problem is that the retailers' commission, which is technically their income, appears on the distributor's 26AS statement. The distributor is seeking advice on how to separate this income and prevent it from being taxed as their own. It's confirmed that commission rates are the same for both distributors and retailers, but it's unclear if invoices detail individual retailer commissions.

Are the rates of commission to distributor & retailers same?

Yes Dhiraj Sir,
rate of commission is same

Does the invoice specify the commission of different retailers separately?
