A professional doctor who is practising modern medicine wants to file ITR 4 for AY 2018-19 in respect of his professional fees received from a hospital where he is working as consultant . Which code he will use to indicate the nature of his profession in the ITR.

Not a special category.they are on contract consultancy and TDS is deducted under 194 J .
IMHO
code 18 is for Health services.
So 18017 - other health services would be appropriate.
