I am filing CMP 08 qtrly basis, is any annual return also required for CMP 08 return?

Yes, as Composition dealer you have to file GSTR 4 as a annual return at the end of the year.

Yes, GSTR-4 is required to be filed by 31 July for F.Y. 20-21

For filing Annual GST Return an option of 'Annual Return Tab' has been enabled by the GSTN (Goods and Services Tax Network). ... Taxpayers can check the website https://gst.gov.in and read the detailed procedure for filing of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9A along with specified terms and guidelines.
