i would like to know which is a better course to pursue with regard to applying for jobs abroad..CMA(USA) or CIMA(UK).
and also which has a more global recognition..

It depends on the location where you'll be applying. USA, Middle East, Canada give more importance to US qualifications i.e. CMA, CPA etc. Europe gives more importance to CIMA, ICAEW.
