Whether we have to follow the old method for preparing Company's balance sheet (IPCC ACCOUNTING & ADVANCED A/C) for may 12? In new study material New format is illustrated.. I know about the announcement that non applicability of schedule VI ..But Y they gave that in study material..

Hi,
Information given in the study module is for your reference. It is to help students keep updated about latest amendments.
But ICAI notification is very clear about applicability of Schedule VI- i.e excluded for May 2012 exams. Notification will prevail.
So just ignore Schedule VI Changes as far examination preparation is concerned.

revised SchVI is not applicabe for may 2012.
