My client has an apollo munich health insurance and period of policy is from 14/08/2012 to 13/08/2014 with a premium of 15755/- for 2 years.
In income tax return of A.Y 2013-14 he claimed medical premium of 22708/- {15755+7153 (ICICI)} of which deduction of 15000/- was avalied for that assessment year.
Now query is can he claim the remaining policy amount 7877/- which belongs to F.Y 13-14 in his income tax return of A.Y 2014-15.
