Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to claim unclaimed input tax (ITC) when filing a nil return for October. It confirms that ITC from April 2020 onwards, as reflected in GSTR-2A, can be claimed in the current October return. However, ITC from before April 2020 has expired and cannot be claimed. There is no limit to the amount of eligible unclaimed ITC you can claim in one go, provided it's not blocked under Section 17(5) of the CGST Act.

You can claim the entire credit starting from April 2020 available in your GSTR-2A in one go except the credit on which ITC is Blocked ( Under Section 17(5) of the CGST Act 2017 ).
