Claim of Tax Credit

201 views 3 replies
As per the employer tds was to be deducted of Rs. 50000 which was actually deducted but Form 26AS show Tax credit of Rs. 80000
Can i claim 80000 as TDs while filing ITR?

Ask for TDs statement and reconcile with the 26as
and then claim TDS
otherwise later demand might come
cross verify first
No

you can not claim

see, you can claim but When deductor of 30000/- revise his return of make it correct. Than Income Tax will raise a  demand against you.

so in my view. NOT AVAIL EXCESS CLAIM.
