Citation of case laws in ca final

Are the students appearing for the ca final exams required to mention the citation of the case laws for DT and IDT?

its good if you quote.. because it actually adds value to your answers... so if u know the exact one... then u must quote... but b aware dont quote sections if u have a lil bit doubt or confusion

Thanks Ankit for your reply. But what I want to know is if we just mention the name of the case and not the citation for it, would any marks be deducted?
Section numbers are very important. Case laws if u can learn all then gr8 otherwise important ones. There is no negative marking but suppose your theory is completely right without sections and case laws u will on an average get 15 percent lower marks than someone who mentions both sections and case laws. cheers
And to clear the other doubt. Only name and court is enough. Citation is gr8 but without that u wont lose any thing.
