HI,

Can anyone please tell what basic skills are necessary to become CISA in the first attempt?

What knowledge of computer one must have ?

Strong audit base, common sense, analytical ability and reasonable computer knowledge

I am a CISA .I had cleared it in the first attempt with ease. The skill set required is strong knowledge auditing practices, general knowledge of computing and networking.You need not have any programming knowledge. Go through the book of Ron Weber. you will find it easy

Thanks a lot for the info. Can you please tell me the name of Ron Weber's book? Will it be useful i fi read it before enroling for the course or have you suggested it as a reference book for my preparations?
